Bartlett Place

Description: The Boston Public Works Department identified an opportunity to transform a small underutilized open space in the North End into a “pocket park”. Based on community input, it was decided that the area would be best used as a bicycle storage and repair area. Several decorative bike racks, a bike pump, and several small trees were included in the final design. A decorative asphalt surface was selected to emulate brick.
